Why I built this

I built AUNTIE ZERO because I had the money for my bills and still overdrafted. I'd started and run two companies. I could manage payroll, vendors, and product launches — and I still couldn't make a personal budgeting app stick for more than two weeks.

"The problem was never laziness. It's that traditional budgeting fights how brains like mine work."

Every app wanted the same things from me: categorise every transaction, review every week, feel bad every time I slipped. That's a system designed for a brain I don't have. As an AuDHD founder, I needed the opposite — one number that tells me what's safe to spend today, gentle reminders that don't shame me, and nothing to maintain.

So I built it. AUNTIE ZERO breaks money chaos into one calm number. No categories. No spreadsheets. No shame spiral. If you've ever fallen off YNAB, this is the app that was actually built for you.
